Pollution Load and Environmental Risk Assessment of Livestock Manure in Minjiang River Valley

For the purpose of environment protection,the maximum admissible pollution load of livestock manure in the Minjiang River Valley was calculated based on the principles of soil-plant nutrition and the theory of scientific fertilization.And potential environmental risk of livestock manure in every city and county in the valley was assessed.Results indicate that pollution caused by the livestock threatens environmental quality of the valley to a varying extent.In the Futun River and the Sha River,the threat is especially prominent.
