Programming of Lake Tianmu Wetland Park based on landscape ecology

Abstract: Based on field investigation and GIS analysis of 1∶1 000 and 1∶10 000 topographic maps,the wetland of Lake Tianmu could be programmed into open areas,islands and hills, shoal, and corridor based on landscape ecology,accounting for 32.6%,17.7%,34.1% and 15.6% of the wetland,respectively.The corresponding patch isolation is 0.008 6,(0.003 5),0.008 6 and 0.003 5 hm-2,respectively.The corresponding patch area is 189.0,102.3,197.1 and 90.5 hm2.Based on landscape analysis,seven types of land use including water garden of flowers,shoreline ecology garden,ecology corridor of River Pingqiao,Phragmites communis garden,hurst island,landscape zone,ecological industry and human inhabitation and settlement are discribed.
