Abstract: Contents and distributions of Cu and Zn in soil compositae system in Xishan Hill of Kunming were studied. Based on parameters of statistical analysis and absorption coefficients, levels of Cu and Zn contents were described quantitatively, and abilities of absorption and enrichment were also presented.Relative absorption coefficients of Cu in compositae except Suassurea japonica were tested to be lower than 1, which showed cushioning effects of Cu in the soil. Enrichment abilities of Zn were showed in Vernonia esculenta, Thylophora yunnanensis, Suassurea japonica and Crepis rigescens, but cushioning effects of Zn were found in other plants.
