Abstract: On the basis of calculation of potential photosynthetic productivity and been revised by natural factors such as temperature, rainfall, soil fertility and soil quality etc, the potential land productivity and food productivity of Wenzhou Municipality have been analyzed. According to an evaluation on the yield of main grain crops of Wenzhou in the past years, the grain yields and the maximum population supporting capacities of Wenzhou in the years of 2000 and 2010 have been predicted by means of AEZ (Agriculture Ecology Zone) method. The key factors for establishing a stable and harmonized sustainable developing relationship between human beings and the land resources in Wenzhou have been pointed out.

Key words: Wenzhou, potential, food productivity, land productivity, population supporting capacity
