Review on UNCSD Indicators for Sustainable Forestry Management

Abstract: The definitions, the calculation methods and the data availabilities of four indicators for UNCSD (United Nation′s Committee for Sustainable Development) sustainable forestry management and their limitations have been described. The four indicators are: wood harvesting intensity, change of forest area, managed forest area ratio and protected forest area ratio.
