Crop productivity depends on "environment-crop" system.A model for the primary productivity of agroecosystem was established in this study based on the environmental resources( e.g.light, heat, water and nutrients) of crop. The model is Y = F(Q)·f (T)·f (W)·f (M). Each environmental factor which affected the extent of potential productivity of crop was analyzed.

The eco-environmental problems in the agricultural practice of Bortala Mongo- lian Autonomous Prefecture are: 1.destruction of a large area of desert vegetation, 2.drying of Aibi lake, 3.overgrazing of grassland, 4.extension of salinization and alkalimization, 5.deficiency of the nutrients for the crop in some farmlands, 6.increasing in natural calamities,.To aolve these problems, following straregies must be tacken: 1.the agricultural production of this prefecture should be arranged in a comprehensive way and a long term plan for agriculture production should be made out. 2.the agricultural production distribution should be modified and the crop structure management system should be optimized, 3.the desert vegetation should protected by an effective measures, 4.the native grassland should be improved and 5.the consumption of water resource should be controlled in order to maintain the water balance of Aibi lake.

The residual laws of Cd in loam and vegetables have been studied. The results showed that Cd content in the soil increased as the concentration of Cd in irrigated sewage water increased. Vegetable roots can absorb Cd from soil and transfer Cd to stems and leaves. There was a significant positive correation between Cd contents in soils and vegetables, and a significant negative correlation between residual Cd contents in soils and time. The absolute amounts of Cd accumulated in the vegetables were in the following order of decrease.common cabbage (leave) >radish ( root ) > lettuce ( stem ) >hot pepper ( fruit ) >cowpea ( seed ) .

The effects of climatic changes induced by carbon dioxide and other trace gases on global ecology, agriculture, fisheriesy water resources’melting of the polar ice-caps, deputation settlements and diseases and its control strategies have been discussed. Most scientists believe that greenhouse effect rnay qe beneficial to some local area, but it has more disadvantages to the eco-environment from the global point of view. Measures as the effective emission control.of greenhouse gases, the prevention of forest destruction and conservation of present forest eco-system have (to be taken in order to alleviate the dangers of greenhouse effects.

New method for analysis of nitrofene in rice was reported in this paper.Rice samples were extracted with dichoromethane. The extracted solution was purified by neutral aluminum oxide arid Florisil mix-up column. The prepared samples was tested with gas chromatography equipped with NPD and 3% OV-17 gas chrom Q 80 -100 mech column. This method was applicable to the determination of nitrofene residue in rice with satisfactory recovery rate ( 87.33-91.47%, variant coefficient from 3.36% to 6.31% )and fine detection limit 0.0212ppm.

The toxicity of As varies with its form and valeuce, its toxic order is A8H3> A. ( 111 )>A5 ( V )>organic As. Although the toxicity of organic As is less than that of inorganic As, half or 1/3 of total As in the soils applied with pesticide are organic As. In order to assess properly the environmental pollution caused by As, it is necessary to determine the amount of total As, inorganic As and organic As in the environment. Organic As was determined by the differences between total As and inorganic As in this study. This method is simple and feasible. The recovery rate of this method is 82-92%, and the detection limit is 0.1 ppm. This method was used to determine more than 60 samples in pesticide-applied fruit garden. Good social and economic benifits were achieved from the analysis. The method provides scientific bases for proper assessment of organic As in environmental pollution.

The analytical method for IKI-7899 in cotton field has been improved in this experiment. The results obtained from analysis of the sample added with the pesticides showed that the average recovery rates for IKI-7899 in cotton seed, leaf and soils were 88.3%, 83.9% and 85.9%respectively, and the detection limits were 0.005 ppm, 0.005 ppm and 0.0025 ppm respectively. The improved method satisfies the requirements for the dynamic experiments of IKI-7899 residue in cotton field.
