Abstract: Studies on characteristics of 2,4 dichlorophenol absorption by bamboo carbon in water solution and their affecting factors showed that bamboo carbon had a fairly strong capacity of adsorbing 2,4 dichlorophenol.The adsorption effect was closely related to particle size and quantity of bamboo carbon used,concentration of pollutants,and duration and pattern of equilibration.
