Abstract: Township and village industry (TVI) plays an important role in rural ecosystem.With the rapid development of TVI, the discharge amount of pollutants from TVI has been dramatically increased.The TVI pollution has become one of the major factors that have restricted the sustainable development of rural economy. For improving the rural eco environment, the primary issue is to prevent and control TVI pollution.On the basis of Qinhuangdao TVI pollution source investigation, the main causes of TVI pollution have been analyzed, and the practical measures for prevention and control of TVI pollution have been proposed.
