Abstract: The status quo of exploitation and utilization of ground water resources in Suzhou Wuxi Changzhou Area and the eco environmental problems caused by long term over extraction of ground water were discussed. The approaches for rational exploitation and utilization of ground water and for protection of the environment of this area have been proposed.
