Abstract: Facing water resource deficiency, diversified economy has been adopted by agriculture department of Qara Tikanlik Irrigation District. Its economy is dominated by cotton, fruit and deer production. The reinforcement of water conservancy projects, developing and saving of water resources, enhancement of management and oasis protection are also playing very important roles in maintaining the stability of oasis and promoting the development of oasis agricultural economy.
