Abstract: Effect of La on growth of Glycine max seedling under Cd stress have been studied through pot culture experiments.The results of the study showed that root application of 200 ml CdCl 2 solution(with the concentration of 500 mg/L CdCl 2) for each pot could result in significant inhibition on the growth of Glycine seedling.While only one time spraying of 30 mg/L LaCl 3 solution on the leaves of seedling previous to the addition of Cd could greatly reduce the damage of the seedling caused by Cd.
