Abstract: Baojing county of Hunan province is one of the main bases for tungoiltree production in China. For solving various ecological and economic problems coused by long term monoculture of tungoiltrees, the authors proposed three alternatives of mixed forest - tungoiltree/othertrees, tungoiltree/shrub, and tungoiltree/grass. The ecological and cost/benefit analyses were made for the three alternatives.
