Abstract: For the purpose of providing a useful reference for researchers in the study of pesticides eco-risk assessment and thereby improving the environmental management of pesticides in China,a detailed introduction was presented to the latest advancement in this aspect in USA and EU,including important and latest concepts,development in assessment procedure,comparison between different multi-tiered eco-risk assessment methods applicable to different regions,and particularly,key technology for pesticide eco-risk assessment-exposure assessment and establishment of exposure scenarios.Besides,specific suggestions were put forth to strengthen the study on pesticides eco-risk assessment in China.
