Abstract: The principles for establishing standard system for ecological protection & rehabilitation in development and construction has been explored.The main types of ecology-damaging development and construction activities and the existing standards for ecological protection & rehabilitation in development and construction in China have been analyzed.On the basis of the exploring and analysis,a new standard system for ecological protection & rehabilitation in development and construction activities has been proposed.The proposed standard system includes 35 standards,of which 15 are the existing ones and 20 are new.The standards can be divided into two groups,one is general standard applicable to two or more than two types of ecology-damaging development and construction activities,and the other is special standard applicable to one type of such activities only.
