Abstract: Starting from analysis of composition of the management costs of a nature reserve,influences of the attributes of a nature reserve on its management costs on different scales were analyzed.Based on the analytical method of classifying and summarizing management costs of nature reserves,a flowchart for analysis of nature-reserve-attributes-based management costs was proposed.Findings of the research may be used to support accurate grasp of the scale and compostion of management cost of a nature reserve and scientific evaluation and prediction of use efficiency and protection effect of the funds invested,and may trigger new ways of thinking to explore patterns and processes of the complex ecosystem of a nature reserve.
