    STUDY ON RESIDUAL ANALYSIS OF PESTICIDE SUMILEX IN SOIL AND IN CUCUMBER USING GAS CHROMATOGRAPHIC METHODS

    • Analysis of pesticide Sumilex residue iu soil and in cucumber using gas chromatographic method was reported in this paper. The samples were blended or shaken with actone for extraction. The extracts was cleaned up by coagulation method and then reextracted with dichlormethane. The organic phases of the extracts Were mixed up and passed through anhydrous sodium sulfate and concentrated to about 1-2 ml. The final material was tested with gas chromatography equipped with NPD and 3% OV-17 chromsorb Q 80-1000 msch column. The method described above was applicable to the analysis of Sumilex residue both in Soil and cucumber with Satisfactory recovery rate(from 85.62-95.40%),standard deviation from 1.94 to 3.96%, variant coefficient from 2.04 to 4.31% and a detectability from 0.0216 to 0.0290 ppm.
