Residue,Toxicology of Aldicarb and Its Effects on Ecosystem

Aldicarb is a high toxicity pesticide. Although it can degradate rapidly in environment to form Aldicarb sulfoxide and sulfone,and them degradate slowly To form other low toxicity substances,there is potential to lead ground water Aldicarb contamination, and therefore, it has effect on organisms in the environment and on health of human being. In this paper,the residue,degradation and foste of Aldicarb in soil ,water and organism and its toxicity to organisms are discussed.
