Abstract:
Taking Jixi County, a national key ecological function zone, as the study area, this study constructs a county-level accounting framework for ecological product value and applies the Gross Ecosystem Product (GEP) approach to evaluate the value of ecological products. The values and realization levels of material product supply, regulating services, and cultural services provided by the ecosystem from 2019 to 2023 are quantified, and the sources of uncertainty in the accounting results and their impacts are further analyzed. The results show that Jixi County's GEP exhibited an overall upward fluctuation from 2019 to 2023, reaching 35.415 billion yuan in 2023. Of the total GEP, regulating services, cultural services, and material product supply accounted for 13.38%, 73.95%, and 12.68%, respectively. Among regulating services, climate regulation (50.59%) and water conservation (14.63%) were the dominant functions, while the value of cultural services fluctuated markedly under the influence of the external environment. The primary conversion rate of ecological products increased from 23.58% in 2019 to 26.05% in 2023, and the average Green Gold Index (GGI) reached 3.44, significantly higher than the national average (1.01) and the global average (0.98). These findings can provide a reference for ecological product value assessment and green development policy-making in key ecological function zones.
