Abstract: The regional effect of northern Jiaiigsu coastwise shelterbelt on temperature is analysed by using the method of puralistic regression. It is found that in winter,the temperature increascs in the morning and slightly decreases in the afterncon,contrary to the summer. The effect on temperature is related to the over rate of standing timber and dominant wind direction of seasons.
