STUDIES ON THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE NANJING GUQUAN RURAL ECOLOGICAL PROJECT Ⅲ.A Comparative Study on Relationship between Water Quality of Fish Pond Fed only with Organic Manures and the Yield and Quality of Aquatic Products

  • The quality of water and aquatic products as well as nutrients of organic manures applied for fish ponds fed only with chicken manure and digested liquid slurry respectively were extensively analyzed. The results showed that organic manure ( pig dung) under anaetpbic fermentation used as fertilizer for fish culture had better effect in many respects than that of undigested manure. It not only mproved the water quality of fish pond, raised the yield and quality of aquatic products but also increased the conversion rate of feed. It also showed that fish culture with digested slurry had remarkable benefits in ecological, economic and social aspects, it proved as an effective way of using organic manure as fodder under anaerobic fermentation.
