ANALYSIS, CALCULATION AND STUDY ON THE OUTPUT AND INPUT RATIO OF THE ARTIFICIAL SUPPLEMENTARY ENERGY FOR LIU MIN YING AGROECOSYSTEM

  • The output and input ratio of the total artificial supplementary energy reflects the system’ s functions as a whole. It is one of the most important indicators measuring the effects of an ecosystem. The output and input ratios for artifical supplementary energy of the Liu Min Yiug agroecosystem have been calculated successively for three years. The results were as follows: output/input ratio Was 1.33 in 1983; 1.0 in 1984 and 1.2 in 1985. It explained the superiority of eco-agricutture in the utilization of energy and reflected the positive results of the system’ s integrated utilization of bio-energy and materials.
