ECOLOGICAL CHANGES OF FILTH FLY LARVAE AND ITS CONTROL MEASURES IN THE RURAL AREAS OF SHANXI PROVINCE

Ecological changes of filth fly larvae caused by changes of rural policies, econmics, envir’cnental conditions and management of livestock and poultry in rural areas of Shanxi Province during 1980-1985 were discussed in this paper. The media and habitation of breeding fly larvae have widely dispersed, the number of larval species increased, the density of some common fly larvae increased Or dacreased according to the changes of their breeding habits and places. The authors proposed some management measures based on the ecological features of filth fly larvae in the rural areas.
