A Study of the Effects of Soil Animals on Soil Nutrients in Non-tillage Ecosystem

  • The differen structures of soil animal communitites and their effects on soil nutrients have been investigated and studied in non-tillage violet soil paddy field ecosystems. The results show that paddy soil non-tillage cropping system is beneficial to the growth and reproduction of soil animals, and is also helpful to the improvement of soil chemical properties. The results also indicate that the average density of soil animal in non-tillage ridge cultured soil is the highest,in conventional tillage ridge cultured soil the second,in non-tillage level cultured soil the third, and in conventional tillage level cultured soil the lowest. The contents of available N,P,K and organic matter in non-tillage soil are all higher than that of in conventional tillage soil.
