Abstract: Cixi county is located in the coastal area, east of Ningbo city, Zhejiang Province. The County hav a stretched belt of sea beach rich in natural resources. In recent years, a rapid development of aquatic cultivation along that belt occured. But up to now its agriculture and livestock husbandry have not received much attention. As a result of an on-site investigation, ten major categories of beach vegetation have been proposed and the proper exploitation and utilization of beach plants in accordance with the real conditions of Soil, fishery and livestock suggested.
