Abstract: On the basis of the hydrological and water quality characteristics of Tongbotang river, a one-dimension-dynamic mathematical model of water quantity and quality was deduced. It Generally reflects the changes of water quantity and quality with time. The river’s water environmental capacity was calculated?and proposals for improving the water quality were suggested.
