Abstract: By comparing energy and value con ve rsion rates,ten multiple cropping subsystems of hilly area agroforestrysystem have been studied.The AHP method is adopted in evalu-ating the comprehensive benefit of the subsystems The resulttsare:wheat-peanut subsystem shows the highest benefit,flvesubsystems show fairly good benefit,and the other four,subrys-tems have relatively lower benefit Practical improving approachesare provided.
