Abstract: A field experiment was carried out on response of greengrocery to fertilization patterns and its ecological stoichiometry. The experiment was designed to have five treatments,i.e.CK,Pattern 1(organic manure plus inorganic fertilizers including amino acid fertilizer),Pattern 2(organic manure plus inorganic fertilizers),organic manure, and inorganic fertilizers. Results show that compared with all the other treatments,Pattern 1 got better responses from the crop in yield, photosynthetic rate, soluble sugar, sucrose, vitamin C and free amino acids. And significant positive relationships of these indexes were observed with the C/N and C/P ratios in the shoots of the plant, and a similar trend was found too with the C/N and C/P ratios in the fertilizer applied, but not significant. Moreover, the treatment lowered nitrate content in greengrocery and the effect had nothing to do with the N/P,C/N,C/P and P/K ratios in shoots or with the fertilizer applied. In conclusion,Pattern 1 improved the growth and quality of greengrocery under field conditions.Furthermore, the reasonable combination fertilizer could improve the photosynthetic carbon on fixation, the C/N and C/P ratios and the yield and quality in the shoots of greengrocery.

Key words: greengrocery, organic fertilizer plus inorganic fertilizer, amino acid, growth, quality, ecological stoichiometry
