Abstract: It has been defined clearly by a systematic research work onapple snail for 7 years: 1. That apple snail has a very high produvtive potential for crude protein, the yield of fresh snail reached to 120180 kg/ha, the proportion of meat and viscera by weight makes up 64. 4% and the crude proteincontent accounts for 9. 65%, with crude protein productivity is 7500kg/ha, 2. It has been also foundthor the critical temperature for survival is 2℃. Except the southern China where the mean temperature in winter is higher than 8℃ .environmental disasters of the animal will not occur, and the breeding of apple snail is regarded to be safe.
