Abstract: This article deals with the contents of As, Hg, Cr, Cd, Pb, Zn, Co, Ni and Mn in flowers, fruits and teas sampled from Suzhou suburbs. Results show that in fruits, the contents of heavy metals are normal, except those of Hg and Ni in chestnut, which exceed the health standard. But in flowers and teas, the contents of all tested heavy metals are higher than those in fruits, and in some flowers, the contents of As and Pb are very high.
