Abstract: The experiences for carrying out natural conservation in I Fcilongjiang province include the foundation of natural conservation units under provincial, municipal, county and village levels to form an administration network within the province, establishment of 51 natural reserves and 206 eco-agricultural experimental stations in the province; promulgation of more than 60 management regulations and measures; roles of the environmental protection departments in taking actively part in coordinating the relationship with other administration departments and motivating the efforts from all sides to carry jointly out natural conservation.
