Abstract: According to the changes of nutrition state andfood consumption structure of different population groups,thepopulation loading capacity of land resources of Taixing city in1993 and 2000 are estimated and predicted, The results showthat in 1993.the city land could support 1.2 million people forfood consumption with present level, but to the year of 2000.thecity land will only be able to support 0.95 million people for foodconsumption with confortable level, that means the food of morethan one third of the city’s population will be provided by other areas.
