Abstract: The 14C-bensulfuron residues in soil and plant were studied by using nuclear trace method. The results show that the half life of bensulfuron is 28 days, and one rice season(98 days)after normal application of bensulfuron, its residue in soil and rice were 1.5μg/kg and 11.63 μg/kg respectively, that are much lower than the allowable value,It is concluded that the normal application of bensulfuron is environmentallv safe.
