Abstract: The photolysis of brofluthrinate.the hydrolysis of brofluthrinate in three buffer solutions with different pH values,and the degradation of brofluthrinate in Taihu paddy soil,Jiangxi red soil and Northeastern China black soil were studied in laboratory.The results showed that the photochemical reactions of brofluthrinate in aqueous solution and in petroleum ether solution irradiated by 300 watt low-voltage mercurial lamp fitted to the second order dynamic equation.The photolysis half-lifes of brofluthrinate in the two solutions were 13.7 min and 9.4 min respectively; The hydrolysis half-lifes of brofluthrinate in three buffer solutions with pH value of 5,7 and 9 were 15. 6, 8.3 and 4.2 days respectively;The degradation half-lifes of brofluthrinate in the three different.soils were betwen 4.8 days and 8.8 days.
