Abstract: There are rich species resources and manifold ecosystems in the middle part of Yaluzangbu River Basin due to the unique highland climate and varied topographic features. These species and ecosystems possess very high value of conservation and utilization. A planning for biological diversity conservation in this particular area has been proposed on the basis of species resource and ecosystem surveying in this region.
