Waste Minimization Is the Primary Approach for Controlling Pollution Caused by Township and Village Industrial Enterprises

Abstract

Abstract: Starting from analyzing the development and the characteristics of TVIEs, the author holds a discussion on the status quo, the characteristics and the causes of TVIEs pollution control has also been discussed. After a brief introduction of waste minimization, a detailed analyzation of the feasibility of implementing waste minimization into effect in TVIEs as well as an study on laws, regulations and policies related to waste minimization in China, it has been concluded that waste minimization is the primary approach for the control of TVIEs pollution.
