Abstract: With the rapid growth of township and village enterprises(TVEs), it now contributes for 30% to the total amount of the national economy and 60% to the rural economy. On the other hand,with the deepening of the reform in the national economic system, the development of TVEs will face with the great challenges. It is difficult for TVEs to realize sustainable development unless they can avoid the disadvantages of themselves to the development and solve the problems of severe environmental pollution and ecology impacts caused by them.Those issues are primarily discussed and some suggestions were proposed for promoting attention of the society and thus to stipulate the sustainable development of TVEs.
