Abstract: Threat of nitrous oxide(N2O)to the environment is characterized by increasing atmospheric greenhouse gas and depleting stratospheric ozone.Effects of agricultural management practices, including cropping system, choice of crop variety, fertilization, irrigation and tillage on N2Oemission of farmlands, were reviewed to address the significance of agriculture management to the environment.Several topics were suggested for further investigation in the years to come.
