Abstract: Adsorption behaviors of DDVP on particulates(Huhhot soil and Yellow River sediment)were studied.Influences of properties of the particulates, such as organic matters, clay,CEC,pH value and ionic strength,on adsorption were discussed. Results show that dynamic processes of the adsorption of dichlorphos on the particulates(soil and sediment)consisted with the first order kinetics and could be described with the Freundlich isotherm. Its adsorption constant K_d was (5.820 0) and 11.738 8,respectively.Investigation of K_d vs.properties of the particulates discovered that soil organic matters, the pH and ionic strengths were the factors dominating adsorption of DDVP on the particulates, and the adsorption increased with the increase in pH value but the decrease in ionic strength.
