Abstract: Treating the soil with simulated acid rain causes soil acidification and release of base ions.In such acidified soil, the generation of biomass and physiological activities of wheat(Triticum aestivum)seedlings were reduced. The effect of soil acidification on biomass and physiological activities of the root system is higher than that on those of the aerial parts.
