The Pesticide Residues in Farmland Soils of Shenyang

Abstract: The results of pesticide residue investigation for paddy soil,dry farmland soil and vegetable farm soil in Shenyang showed that the residues of ordram,butachlor,trichlorphon, phoxim,atrazine,dimethoate,omethoate,deltamethrin and parathion were all lower than the detectable level;The geometrical mean levels of BHC and DDT residues were 0.011 mg/kg and 0.039 mg/kg respectively; The BHC residue in paddy soil was lower than that of in vegetable farmsoil;The DDT residues in both soils were in the same level;The main form of BHL isomer residue was β-BHC and the main form of DDT isomer residue was p,p’DDE in all the investigated soils.
