Abstract: Field experiments were carried out in Hulin of Heilongjiang,Chifeng of Inner Mongolia, Jining of Shandong, Fenggang of Guizhou and Zengcheng of Guangdong. 5 treatments were designed, i.e. no fertilizer, conventional fertilization, conventional fertilization+microporous potassium-silicon-calcium mineral fertilizer at 450 kg·hm-2, conventional fertilization + microporous potassium-silicon-calcium mineral fertilizer at 900 kg·hm-2, conventional fertilization + microporous potassium-silicon-calcium mineral fertilizer at 1 350 kg·hm-2, for the study of effect of microporous mineral fertilizer, a national invention patented product,on rice growth and yield. Results show that the new fertilizer increased yield by 7.6% on average, and economic income by the range of 68-3 210 Yuan·hm-2, as compared with the conventional fertilizers. Considering its effect on rice yield and economic benefit, the optimal economic application rate is recommended to be 450 kg·hm-2.

Key words: potassium-silicon-calcium mineral fertilizer, rice, growing character, yield
